Does anyone have any knowledge of the cheapest way to get to Bergen, Norway from Brussels, Belgium in early August. I am doing a semester abroad and am flying in to Brussels in August and have to start school within 5 days of arriving in Brussels. I can do a return flight in December as I will fly out of Brussels home again. Or is renting a car or taking the train better options?

Most likely to fly but if your are arriving as an exchange student you'll probably have a lot of luggage. All discount arilines have very strict luggage policies and you will pay extra. Most standard European airlines can be strict too. But renting a car is out of the question and the train is a long trip that won't be cheap. In addition to the discount airlines, be sure to check SAS.
