Hi, I was wondering whether anyone has visited the Bruder Klaus Kapelle and traveled there from Dusseldorf Airport? I have an 8 hour layover in Dusseldorf Airport (before flying onto Munich) and wondering whether I will have enough time to travel there? Regards,
Jasmine
Of all the sights available in that region you really picked... the oddest ;-) I've never heard of Bruder Klaus Kapelle but its website looks interesting. You can do it but inspite of what Lee or anyone else might be suggesting on here - you MUST rent a car for this trip! Europcar, Sixt, Avis, Hertz... even the small cars come with GPS these days. The drive will be just over an hour from Düsseldorf airport. As you have to go around Cologne expect some traffic there during commute hours. On your way back you may want to stop by http://www.stiftung-schloss-dyck.de/en/home.html
