BritRail Pass vs. Eurail Global Mobile Pass

I'll be traveling by train in England, Scotland and Wales for two weeks.

The Eurail Global Mobile Pass is cheaper by ~ $140 for the 15-day continuous pass than the BritRail Pass, but I've been reading of problems with the app and unavailability of customer service. I looked on the Eurail website, but there doesn't appear to be an option to get a printed hardcopy pass.

What's the difference between the two passes other than price, and one is a mobile pass? Will both work with all rail operators in Great Britain? Does one have an advantage over the other?

Would you advise going with the BritRail Pass?

Thank you.

You need to give some indication of what journeys you plan to take as sometimes, buying tickets can be cheaper than passes. Also state how much these passes cost. Note that rail strikes are happening on certain days in Britain at the moment.
