British Rail Question

I'm going to be traveling by train throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Part of the journey I'll be using a Britrail pass and part will be individual tickets.

I know I have to validate my Britrail pass, but do individual point-to-point tickets have to be validated? Is this done by machine like on the continent? Thank you

Hi Frannie, no point-to-point tickets does not need to be validated. You can have your pass validated at the rail station or any travel center. When you enter the date on your pass make sure you enter as the British do. date/month/year like 14 Sept. 2008 this is very important.
