Going in September. Wanting to do some of Eastern Europe, Prague, Kiev and the main cities Rome, Florence, Vienna Salzburg, Berlin ( maybe) Brussles, amsterdam and of xourse a few days in London. Where do I fly to first what kind of transportation do I use the rest of the way... Ideas Please
Unless you have a month or two, that's a very ambitious itenerary. I would cut it down to no more than two, maybe three cities per week. Otherwise you will spend all your time at airports or on trains and planes. Remember that each time you go from city to city, you have to pack, get to the airport two hours in advance or train station in advance, travel, then find your new lodgings, unpack etc.
If you want to avoid carry-on restrictions, avoid flying from or through the UK. Perhaps you get a flight to London, take the train to Brussels and maybe then do Germany and Austria. Leave the rest for another trip.
