British Airways Baggage Check In

I'm flying from AGP to LGW with checked baggage. My flight departs very late at night, and I will have several hours to kill after cruise debarkation. How many hours before departure can I drop off the baggage at the airport? I know that there are no luggage lockers at AGP, but there are at the train station. Will use that option if I must.

Jill; We flew on British Airways just last week. Drop off is 3 hours before the flight. We arrived 5 hours before and had to sit and wait before they would take our checked luggage.
