BA is in the process of gradually moving their flight from their terminal 7 to AA’s terminal 8. That has begun, and should be complete by the end of the month. Iberia’s operations move on the 31st.
This has been planned for a while, but BA’s schedule was only announced a few weeks ago, and Iberia hasn’t made a formal announcement. (I asked agents at check in last week). Apparently Japan Airlines is due to join them all early next year.
This will make OneWorld connections much easier at JFK—a welcome change. (Just have to watch out for AA codeshares flights with JetBlue, which of course will still be in T5.)
