British Airline: Checked/Carried On Baggage for Flights within Europe

Hi, For flights within Europe (London to Amsterdam, for example), is it free to have one checked-in baggage & one carried on for British Airline (so two baggage total)? I checked BA's website and only see one checked-in baggage and want to confirm. thanks.

You can carry on a 22" bag plus a " personal item" ( laptop, large purse, daypack etc.) regardless whether you have also checked bags. One checked bag is free in economy class; possibly two if you have elite status with the airline.

Just a word of caution. Sometimes the flights inter Europe are on smaller planes and the 22" roller bag that will be allowed on the big airplanes are not allowed on the smaller ones. I was able to bring my roller bag onboard last year on my overseas flight but when I changed planes they made me gate check it on my inter Europe flight (yes it did arrive with my other checked luggage so I was a happy camper)
