Border crossing from Albania to Greece

Now that we have been assured that we can get from Dubrovnik to Thessaloniki - we are wondering if anyone has any tips about crossing the border between Albania and Greece. Give us as much info as is possible to let us know the best form of transportation and what to expect from the procedure. Thanks

You may want to check/post this on the Thorn Tree forum (Lonely Planet website) as this is not a border that a lot of folks on this forum are familiar with.
