I have been trying to book a flight on Ryanair's website. I enter all of the pertinant information but get an error message saying I must have entered incorrect credit card information. I know it is all correct. I've tried multiple time in the last 24 hours to book. Anyone else have this problem?
Check with your cc company or bank. They may be blocking a foreign transaction.
Did that already. Not the problem. Thanks.
Debi, Someone else posted here recently about having numerous problems trying to book on the RyanAir website. He tried different credit cards, etc. and nothing worked. I believe he finally booked with a different airline. My suggestion would be to use RyanAir only as a "last option". Are there any other airlines flying the route you want to travel? Good luck!
Debi, I was the one that had all the problems. Two different credit cards (different banks, different types, etc.) both setup to allow charging in the UK. Nothing wrong with what you are doing. Ryanair just is not interested in your money. I booked on another airlines. Edwin
Thanks for the info. Yes, I tried two different cards also. I guess I will be looking for alternative airlines. I'm glad to know the problem wasn't with me. I'm new to booking flights in Europe.
I guess the system that Ryanair use for credit card approval has problem. I had the same problem in booking train ticket on voyages.sncf.com. I have tried the whole week but still not succeed. Maybe, their system cannot accept the credit card issued in N. America.
Might want to try a different browser (i.e. firefox if on windows).
