I can't book on-line for a ticket at the Peles Museum in Romania because the on-line form requires a Romanian phone number which I don't have with no option for an American phone number. Has anyone used an on-line vendor to buy tickets at the museum?

I bought one online a month or so ago through the regular website. I just did a trial run to jog my memory and I think this is the one where I made up a phone number. It took me some trial and error and I don’t remember what I ended up doing.
But today I made an online restaurant reservation in Bucharest and had this issue again. I again made up a number - otherwise the reservation would not go through. I think I used 07 and added 7 or 8 digits of my real number.
For Peles, my number doesn’t show anywhere. My ticket came to my email. I don’t go until Thursday, but I think everything is fine. It was fine for the restaurant tonight.

I bought mine at the same time as TTM above, but I'm pretty sure my number went through. I just tried it again on a dummy booking, and it accepted my US phone number.
Just make sure you change the country code (+1) from the drop-down menu (don't key it in - use the menu) and once you do that, enter your area code and phone number with no dashes or spaces, and it should accept it.

If you begin the process to create an account on the Peles site, then enter your name and email address, the telephone drop down will repopulate with a longer list of country codes, including the US.

Ok, listen to them. That’s what I did, too. 🤦🏻♀️ But somewhere I had to make up a phone number.
