I tried to book on trentalia for florence to paris. the tickets were released today for the trip I chose them and then I get this message when I enter in the name on the ticket that it can not be completed now to try againlater.
then on tgv europe I think I will be able to go through the whole process but when I choose first class double compartment there is this little disclaimere that saysYou will be split between several compartments exclusively reserved for you...but gives reserved seats and upper and a lower with seat numbers that are very odd and different but I understand that is normal

we tried all three our CCs with Trenetalia and they all were denied and they are verified with visa and everything...
oh well.....it did go through no problems on TGV and they will be mailing the tickets...price was the same.
the venice-florence train will just wait until we arrive in italy.

You won't have any trouble with the Venice/Florence train. There are about 35 trains a day making the run. Just buy your exit tickets when you arrive in Venice.
