Booking Night Train from Berlin to Prague then Prague to Budapest

Hi. I have been trying to book a sleeper on a night train from Berlin to Prague in late June. I'm probably missing something - but i only seem to be given the option of a seat on www.bahn.de. do i have to purchase a sleeper ticket at the train station?

im also going to be booking a sleeper on a night train from Prague to Budapest...but havent even started looking into that one.

any help/suggestions would be appreciated!

Scott, I couldn't find a real night train on that short route. It's only 4 1/2 hrs and the last EuroCity leaves Berlin at 4.45pm and arrives in Prague at 9.21pm, the first in the morning leaves at 5.01am arriving at 9.21am. The EuroNight train connection looks kind of "funny": Berlin-Dresden 9.30pm to 11.30pm and then the EN doesn't leave until 6.08am (arr PRG at 8.41am). No wonder all they offer you is a seat since you'd be spending the night on some bench at Dresden Hauptbahnhof.

Berlin to Prague...agree with 1st responder.
http://www.jizdnirady.cz/connform.asp?tt=a&cl=E5.
That is the link for IDOS the Czech Rail Connectons..
I entered the date as: 21.6.2006 and entered the time as 06:00.
The 2 best connections are direct trains - no changes:
Departs Prague @ 7:32 - Arrives Budapest @ 14:17.
Departs Prague @ 11:35 - Arrives Budapest @ 18:17.
Both are 6 hours 45 minutes.

BTW - the night trains are 9 and 10-1/2 hours. Not a wise choice to take the night trains, IMO.
