I'm taking a trip to Italy with 3 other adults at the end of the month, and the main train connections I'll be using are Florence-to-Rome, Rome-to-Naples and then Naples-to-Sorrento and then Naples-to-Rome, where I'll be leaving from.
Should I book before I leave for Europe, or should I wait until I get to Florence (where I'll be flying in). In Florence, could I book all the trains right when I arrive? Or is it better to buy as I go?
The only reduced fare I can find is Amica. Can I use Amica on the machines, or will I need to go to the counter?
Thanks.
