I understand that we are taking a train from venice to desenzano, lake garda but after staying in desenzano to leave for varenna lake como, do we have to take a train to Milan first then to varenna, is there no train service from Lake Garda to Lake Como direct? I am getting a little confused and I am sure one day I will book tours as it will be so much easier. Thanks so much for your help. We may also go to Lake Maggiore after Como by train, is this easily done? Thank you Thank you Deb

You're not going to buy tickets on this website, you don't need to, it's a train schedule website, used to generate schedules and show you what towns are connected by rail and which aren't, train times, travel times, that kind of thing. Play around with the site for a few minutes and you'll be able to answer your questions. It will help if you have access to an online map showing town names, such as google map or viamichelin.com
