Bolzano to Alpe Di Siusi

Does anyone know the bus schedule between Bolzano and Alpe Di Siusi. I have been to the transportation page many times but when I type in the route it is saying no connections found. I know there are PDFs of the schedule but I don't know which bus route to choose. I am wondering what the earliest train out of Bolzano I would be able to make (on a Sunday in September 2013). If someone could either provide me the bus route, what stops to get on/off or general idea of the schedule that would be so helpful. Thanks!

Jesse, I'd have to check, but you may find that you have to travel to Castelrotto first, and then take the Bus from there to Alpi di Siusi. I know that link exists, as I've used it, but I've never travelled directly from Bolzano. I'll have a look later this afternoon and see if I can find more definite information. Cheers!

Which website are you using? Sad.it will show buses from the lower cablecar station at Seis to Bolzano train station. Type in "Seis" and it will offer that choice. This isnIf you wish to ride the cablecar down. Silbernagl buses will take you from Compatsch on Alpe di Siusi to Castelrotto, where you transfer to a bus to Bolzano. Www.sii.bz.it Also check the cablecar website www.cabinoviasiusi.it I think the buses start running earlier than the cablecar does, but it takes longer due to the transfer in Castelrotto.

I just cleaned up my response. My iPad turned some of the words into gibberish, so I had to go back and override the autocorrect. I hope I got it right this time.

We have been there a couple of times for hiking, relying on public transport. The buses are great, once you figure out the schedules. This was before the cablecar up to Alpe di Siusi from Seis. Now, I think I would use that. I hope you are stayin overnight up there, because it is really beautiful. I noticed that some of the PDF schedules on the Sulbernagl site are in Ladin. That is one of the charms of this area. You must be flexible with languages.

I do not see a timetable on the cable car website. Am I missing something?
