Blue Express Airline luggage rules

Anyone know what the fee would be if your suitcase is slightly over the limit of 160cm?? My luggage is appx 164cm, nothing on website explains this, they only discuss excess weight fees (7 euro per every kilo over 15 kilo)

Generally we suggest only posting your question once because it gets confusing when there are multiple threads running.

I'm not 100% sure of the answer to your question, it's not an airline I'm very familiar with. However, my understanding is that generally if your carry-on is oversized, they will make you check it. If your checked luggage is oversized, they will either refuse to take it or more likely charge you the same as if it were overweight.

I would suggest emailing the airline to ask for clarification...or take a smaller suitcase?

We fly blu-express often out of FCO. As far as "length" of your bag for checked luggage, it's quite random. As "close" as you say it is they probably will not even check. They are, as you say, primarily focused on the weight. I have seen band members flying blue-express with their instruments and certainly these exceed the "size" parameters - Not sure what the extra fee was, but I'm sure they paid one! That's how these budget airlines make $$$$$. As suggested, email the airline asking their oversize luggage charges. Good Luck.
