Great article! It confirms everything I've noticed personally. I've yet to find a better deal on a Sat/Sun, but I have noticed that that the weekend fares are much more competitive. I still find the best deals on Tues/Wed/Thurs. It makes me feel better about having already bought my airfare for May. I hesitated, hoping I wouldn't buy too soon and have fares go down, but I've just lost out too many times in waiting- to the tune of losing hundreds of dollars. I'm happy I went ahead and got my flight with many choices.
