Can you get a taxi from bled to the airport or must use use public transportation? How long does it take for both methods and approximate cost for each.

Several years ago I took a taxi arranged by the hotel. It took less than 30 minutes. There may be more options available now but probably taking longer.

Go-Opti is worth checking out. They had shuttles to/from the airport and Bled a few years ago when I was there.
I just priced transfer from Lake Bled to the airport at 17 euros.

We used Turanus private shuttle for a few different routes and we were happy with their service.

I took a bus for the day from Ljubljana to Bled and back. The bus back was one that stopped at the airport. I don't really see how/why I would want to go any other way - it could not have been more convenient. It did not take too long. It would be a matter of finding out the schedule for an airport bus. But if you prefer a taxi to a bus, take a taxi.

In Oct. 2022, I took a taxi from Bled to the Ljubljana airport with a group of fellow travelers. I paid only $15, I believe, in part because I went with other people. The hotel arranged the trip. I think the ride was 20-30 minutes.

Another vote for Go-Opi. We used it in October to go from Trieste to Ljubljana and again from Ljubljana city center to the airport for an early morning flight. On time and reasonably-priced.
