looking for bikes to rent to go to the local wineries. any suggestions?

The bike shop in Beaune, Bourgogne Randonnees, has a lot of bikes and good advice. I think they are the source of the bike rides that Rick suggests in his book. They rent VTT bicycles, souped up hybrids that are very well suited to cobbles and, if you go that way, hills. My own experience with them was very good. A really great way to get about and get to know the land.

Absolutely agree with Adam about Bourgogne Randonnees. Good bikes, excellent advice about biking in the area. They also design multi day bike trips. Run by two brothers who used to be guides for Butterfield and Robinson.
