beware

We got a deal on airfare from Miami to Barcelona on Iberia. My wife wanted to see Israel so we booked Norwegian Air. When I tell you it is the worst experience of your life, that is an understatement. The plane was delayed 3 hours. The rude flight attendant anita got into a fight with the 8 passengers around us, for no reason. My diabetic wife asked for some water to take a pill and she said we could BUY a glass of water after service. The Israeli next to us nicely asked her why the attitude and all she did was badmouth Norwegian, cheap, we dont understand. She kept defending her indefensible attitude for 45 minutes. You wont get a peanut or an apology. If you have to fly Norwegian, STAY HOME.
We flew Aegean back and they could not have been nicer. Every employee was nicer than the previous from checkin, to gate to attendants. They also only fly to airports other than Athens on certain days. So we got a free 16 hour layover in Athens to see the city!
We also did 1 night in Naples(OMG, CEO of Norwegian must be from Naples) and 3 fantastic nights in Praiano/Positano at awesome Hotel Holiday. Views and breakfast to die for. Wish we had done Sorrento instead of Naples.
Barcelona was a clean New York with amazing architecture.
I have been to Italy 9x using Rick Steves and appreciate your advice and savings. However, I loved Athens.
