better time to plan to call Virgin Atlantic?

Virgin Atlantic changed my outbound flight schedule for mid-May. The change isn't horrendous, but not my preference. I can rebook via their website but it doesn't seem like I can choose my preferred flight for my preferred date. I can plan a day to sit on hold with the airline customer service line- I appreciate thoughts or tips anyone has about a better time of week or day to call for a potentially shorter wait time. I'm in the Eastern Time Zone, for what it's worth. Thanks!

Since 2020, I've made several flight changes with Virgin Atlantic. While I phoned them for a couple of those (and spent a while on hold), the smoothest experienece was when I used their texting option (took care of everything from flight changes to payment of differences in tickets). Otherwise I think I was on hold generally about 60-90 min, listening to their same 5 hold songs playing screechingly through the phone. I typically called around my lunch time (west coast time). Good luck!

Texting worked for us. Best time was late evening. Received an immediate response.

Hi Rebecca, or anyone else- I've looked over the Virgin Atlantic contact page and am not sure if the texting option still exists. Anyone know if it still does, or where I might find that information? Thanks!

I used texting a year or so ago I was signed up to receive text alerts and they texted me the schedule change and I responded. . Then the number was:5028041869 according to my phone. Have no idea if that works now. Good Luck

Thanks, all! I just got done using their online rebooking form. The last box to check says that they'll text via SMS or Whatsapp if they need to contact me about the booking change. Fingers crossed that everything gets sorted, and I'll report back.
