Best way to travel from London, Paris, Switz, to Germany and back

Hello, What would be the best way to travel from London to Paris, from Paris to Switzerland, from Switzerland to Germany and back to London? I am open to starting my trip from London to Germany as well. I appreciate any and all help!

Please advise the time of year, how many days, and where specifically you're going to in Switzerland and Germany.

Thanks Tim, I'm starting my trip in the middle of April for a little over two weeks. So far, I'm thinking Swiss Alps region and Bavaria or Munich in Germany.

I'm guessing that your reason for returning to London is because you're thinking of doing a round-trip London, not that you need to see London again...... If that's the case, then just book an outbound flight to London and with a return from Munich (open-jaw). I see some good fares in April from SFO with US Air and Delta with these destinations for < $1,000. London to Paris take the Eurostar (St Pancras station to Gare du Nord). Paris to Switzerland you could take the TGV from Paris (Gare de l'Est) to Lausanne... takes just 4 hours. From there you may want go to the Interlaken area..... use "Bahn.DE" to check train schedules in Switzerland & Germany. Do some more research with Rick's and other travel guides to work up a more specific itinerary.

SS, The others have provided lots of good information. It would help to know exactly where you plan to visit in Switzerland? You can also get TGV connections into Basel, which may be more convenient. I definitely agree with the previous comments that using open-jaw flights would be the best idea. Having to return to London from Germany will not only cost money, it will use the better part of one day in travel. That's not an efficient use of time on such a short holiday. Happy travels!
