I will need to leave at 6 by the latest.....I know bus 99 is the best option. My concern is making sure I get on it

If you go to http://www.lignesdazur.com/horaires_ligne/?rub_code=6&laction=all there are links to interactive timetables for all the lines. If you click on route 98 or 99 you get to a timetable enquiry page where you can select your date and time. It looks as if on Mon-Fri the express 98 from the station doesn't begin until 8 am. However, the first bus on the all-stops route 99, which starts from central Nice and runs along the Promenade des Anglais, arrives at the airport at around 5.50 am and departs from its first stop in Nice at 5.20.
