Best Way To Save on Paris Trains

Hey Everybody,

I am looking for advice for my family's (me, wife, 4 & 8 year old) trip to France this summer. We will be flying to CDG on Sunday, then taking the train to Bayeaux and will return back to Paris on Wednesday. We will stay in Paris until Saturday when we leave for Disney for the weekend. We plan to visit Versailles while in Paris and take the train to Disney. Long story short, (too late) I am trying to figure out what is the best way to save on train tickets. I was thinking about buying a week pass when we get there on Sunday, but from what I understand it would expire that night. So I am looking for any/all suggestions that will be the easiest/cost effective way to save on train tickets around Paris and to Disney. Thank you for your help!

You say you will arrive at CDG on Sunday and will take a train to Bayeux, return on Wednesday - have you bought these tickets, yet? This is a completely separate thing from Paris and Disneyland.

As for while in Paris, just buy some Metro tickets, and read up / google what you need to day trip to Versailles. You do not need to bother with a weekly pass in Paris. Try this: https://www.parisdiscoveryguide.com/how-to-get-from-paris-to-versailles-palace.html

As for getting to/from Disneyland, this should help: https://www.paristoolkit.com/disneyland/paris_disneyland_transfers.htm
