best way to ireland

I have been trying to find the best way to get from France to Ireland. I will be in the Caen area and need to get to Cork. i have the ferry schedules but was thinking of flying but can't find a flight from that area to Cork. Does anyone have any advice?

Your fastest route would be to take the train to Paris and fly Aer Lingus from CDG to Cork.
