Hello,
We will be taking the ferry from Calais to Dover and will travel around UK mostly between London and Liverpool and Cheshire, there will be 4 of us. What would be the best way to get around?? Does Liverpool have a good bus system?? We don't want to tackle driving there. .

Hi Pam! I can't speak for the bus system within Liverpool, because I didn't spend time there specifically.. However, last September I took the National Express bus from London to Liverpool. I bought the bus ticket online before I left (www.nationalexpress.com) for $2!! (I just printed out an e-ticket after purchase) The bus station was just around the corner from Victoria Station downtown London, and I was careful to choose a route that was without stops, roughly a 3 or 4 hour drive. It was a very good experience for me, and super affordable, but I am unaware as to the other alternatives for this commute. Hope that helps!
I have had good experiences with natl express but know nothing about 2$ or 1 L tickets come on the tube for 6 blocks is 6$
