Which is the best way to get to the Rome Airport from a Rome Motel. Can 4 people and their luggage all get into a cab?

Define best !! It would be difficult for 4 people and luggage unless packing very light to fit in one cab. I sure your hotel could orderr a larger van for the four of you. You are on the seam. Four people on the train to the airport plus the cost of getting to the train would probably equal or exceed the cost of a van to the airport.

You should be able to have your hotel organize a van for you. Last year, we did that, and it was 40 euro for the four of us.
