We are leaving on a cruise on July 7. We decided to fly into Rome a couple of days early to spend some time sightseeing before we board the ship. What is the best way to get from Rome Termini train station to the ship port Civitavecchia? Also, is the port easy to get around or should we anticipate difficulty in trying to figure out where we board?

There are multiple trains runs a day going from Rome Termini to Civitavecchia. Very easy. The train station is about 5-6 long blocks from the port entrance. Its a nice walk along the beach. Or, you can take a taxi. Once at the port entrance, there should be a mini-bus to take you to the ship.
