Best way to get from Dijon to Bruges

Need help trying to figure out the best way to get from Dijon to Bruges. Take the train, which involves a transfer in Paris from one train station to another. Not sure how much time to allow for this.

Or - take the train to Lyon and fly from to Lyon to Brussels, then train to Bruges. Seems like, when all is said and done, this would take as much time as the train.

Your advice and knowledge is much appreciated.

Train will be a lot easier and probably faster than flying.
There is no way to avoid the change of stations in Paris. Gare du Nord to Gare de Lyon (or vice-versa) usually takes me about 30 minutes platform to platform, so allow 1 hour.
If you go to a train timetable site (such as https://www.b-europe.com/ = Belgian Railways ) and just put in from 'Brugge' to 'Dijon Ville' it will find the fastest trains allowing enough time to cross Paris.

The RER D line (direction Orry-Ville) goes between the Gare de Lyon and the Gare du Nord in fifteen minutes. It stops only at Chatelet, so it's very fast and easy to get between the two train stations. IMHO, the train is the easiest.

According to the SNCF website, there is an 0714 through train from Dijon to Lille. From Lille you can then travel to Bruges either by fast train to Brussels, and then a change, or a slower but usually through local train via Kortrijk. If you take the local train, you will have to go from Lille Europe to Lille Flandres stations in Lille, but the journey is much easier than from Gare de Lyon to Gare du Nord in Paris - you can walk if you don't have heavy luggage.
