Hi Michelle - Not sure what Steve told you - His advise is spot on 99.5 % of the time - lol. I prefer to drive it - Lots of fun - many great places to stop - And Michelle - Contrary to so many responders on the site there is no reason to be afraid to drive in Europe!!! You should get an IDP from a local AAA office here before you go - BUT - that's it.
