Hi....need your help. Going to France for the first time mid-May. What is the best way to get to the Cinque Terre from Paris - a train somehow, or drive? There will be 2-6 of us. Thank you so much for whatever help you can give me!
Hi Kristi - Actually I prefer the drive - done it a couple of times and find it very enjoyable. I have included the Mapquest directions and, as you can see, it's about a 10 hour drive BUt make a few stops and enjoy the sights!!

You can catch a morning TRAIN to Milan (Milano) and change trains for La Spezia from there. It would take at least 8 hours, as I recall. Check train schedules to see if a connection in Turin (Torino) would work better.
To FLY take a budget flight to Pisa and take the train from there.
