feb 20 '12 re. may '12 recommendations for getting to ronda from cordoba on a thursday. i thought i would just take a train (or 2) directly. someone mentioned the adventure of getting bus (los amarillos) from seville to ronda via the white hill towns. i was not planning on going to seville but this bus sounds like fun. if you know about or have done this bus trip please share with some detail. what are your recommendations if you only have 2 days, 1 night planned for ronda on the way to granada?

A bus from Cordoba to Ronda will be faster and cheaper than a train. I don't know all the routes but coverage is good. Expect the busses to be like Charter busses. I think there will be competing companies, like in Mexico, operating out of the bus station - more like an airport. You won't need reservations, shop the different lines and buy your ticket when you get to Cordoba. The train station is across the street from the bus station.
