We want travel from Bellagio on Como to Interlaken, Switzerland by train. What would be the most efficient way to do this? After 3 nights in the Interlaken area we want to take the train to Zurich, our final destination.

From the Google search I just did, it looks like the most efficient route would be to take the bus from Bellagio to Como and a series of trains from Como S. Giovanni to Interlaken Ost. For some departure times you would have to go via Milan and for others you can head directly north. For detailed train timetables, see the German Rail site.
