Will be traveling or using the train for about 10 days in 2 weeks in Italy and Switzerland, which is the best pass to acquire ?

It's necessary to know the itinerary in order to offer help. Cross-border rail passes seldom are worth it for two weeks anymore.

As Pat said, we need the complete itinerary and it would be helpful to know what you plan to do as well. Will you hike? Ride lifts to scenic viewpoints in the mountains? Also, good to know if there are children, their ages, and when you are making this trip.

Also interested in the answer. We will be traveling from Milan to Lausanne. Two adults. Just one day train trip.
