We have a party of 4 flying into CDG from the US from different airport - but in currently arriving at Terminal 2E withing about 45 minutes of each other. Where is the best place to plan to meet so we can all get together prior to leaving for downtown Paris?

Station someone outside of customs. Rotate the duty post as needed. You're planning on 45 minutes but reality is usually somewhat different. Whoever in actual fact arrives first can check the flight status boards so make sure EVERYONE has everyone's flight numbers and ETA. We used the plan where one of us is standing outside of Customs every quarter hour for 5 min. starting 30 minutes after our travel companions flight lands. Frees others to get some coffee, bathroom breaks etc. Course even better is for everyone to have a international cell.
