check out www.kayak.com --Virgin Atlantic and British Airways have direct flights into London where you can catch connecting flights into Amsterdam.

Kayak did not work for me, it did not quote budget airlines that I knew flew out my gateway city choices. Look at Kayak, but don't assume it is the best rates available.
Find out the names of the low cost carriers in your area, google and search away.

Kristen....check flights out of Sanford Airport as well. I know Icelandair flies out of Sanford and you can connect through Iceland to Amsterdam.
