I am trying to find the best priced flight from San Diego or Ontario to Rome (or LAX if I have to.I have seen that Virgin Airlines has an all inclusive price which I love. They only seem to fly to London though. What is a cheap, reliable flight to Rome that we can get there quickly on? Any other suggestions for a good airline - seems Virgin has the nicest for Economy as far as amenities. United & Delta seem to be very basic. Thoughts from the experienced?
Thanks,

Sorry - left out the fact I'm leaving next month - Sept. 2007
You could consider flying to Chicago-O'Hare and then catch the non-stop to Rome. AA is not necessarily cheap but it would be easy.
Carrie - Check out kayak.com. Plug in your dates and airports and it will check every airline and travel website for the best airfares.
cheaptickets.com has Delta San Diego-Rome via Cincinnati for about $1050....I think Virgin's about 850 to London from LAX. Since a cheap European flight is probably still going to cost at least $100, plus the time and aggravation of changing airports in London, plus getting to LAX in the first place, it's probably going to end up costing you the same, or even less, to book direct from San Diego...it;ll certainly be easier on you! Another option is to see what sites like cheapseats.com offer to Rome from from direct American hubs like Cincinnati and Atlanta (Delta), JFK and Chicago O'Hare (American Airlines), Philadelphia (US Air), and Washington Dulles (United)....then find a cheap fare from San Diego to there,...perhaps Southwestern? Also, don't forget deals to European gateways like Frankfurt, then cheap flights from there. For European discount airlines, try www.whichbudget.com
