Bernina to Lake Como

We will travel to Lake Como early Sept. from Pontresina. Once we stop for an italian lunch in Tirano, we want to take the fastest route to Lenno at Lake Como. Do we take a train to Varenna, bus to Lenno....or do we take a bus to Lake Como area?? Which will get us in the earliest to Lake Como?
