I will be staying at ARCOTEL John F Berlin, Werderscher Markt 11, 10117 Berlin, Germany on Saturday September 7, 2013. I want to travel the ICE train to Wittenberg. What is the location of the closest Bahn station to my hotel and is it better to walk or take public transportation to that station? Is it correct that the stop in Wittenberg is named Lutherstadt-Wittenberg?

Use the German Rail (Bahn) website. Change the radio button for from to "address", use "Wittenberg" for to. It looks like the closest ICE train station is the Berlin Hbf, and you can walk from your hotel to a bus stop that will take you to another stop near the Hbf. Yes, the ICE stop for Wittenberg is called "Lutherstadt Wittenberg".
