Berlin to Paris :Europa-Spezial Frankreich and Standard fare (Normalpreis)

Hi there - I are planning a trip from Berlin to Paris by CNL train and I am confused what fare to choose whether Europa-Spezial Frankreich or Standard Fare.
As I undestood from DB BAHN site, I can use Europa-Spezial Frankreich if I definitively know what date of departure and what train I'am going to travel and also such tickets is non-refundable. Is it so?
Return ticket(Berlin-Paris,Paris-Berlin) for Europa-Spezial Frankreich cost about 218 EUR ans the same for standard fare cost 394 EUR.
It is realy great difference in price for flexibility.

Please explain the differnce between Europa-Spezial Frankreich and Standard Fare.

You have understood everything correctly. Standard fares are exchangeable and refundable. Discount fares like Europa-Spezial Frankreich are for a specific date and departure time and are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

Ok, I will book ticket using Europa-Spezial Frankreich fare.

I'am going to buy online ticket instead of mail delivery (dangerous and time taking process to receive mail in Ukraine)

Regarding this I have one question:
All what I need to board train successfully:) just have a printed online ticket and credit card (I will purchase ticket using credit card).
Am I right?
Will I have any problems in Paris with such online ticket during return to Berlin?

You're welcome, Sergey.

I think you will have to print two tickets, one for Berlin-Paris and the other for Paris-Berlin. So long as you have your credit card and passport handy so you can show them and the tickets to the conductor after you board the train, you will have no problem in either Berlin or Paris.

Just remember to bring the same credit card that you purchased the tickets with. They scan that when verifying the ticket. Have a good trip!
