I am thinking of driving from Berlin to Krakow. Does anyone have any tips on driving conditions, road conditions, and any other good tips? There will be three of us travelling.

Here are the 2 driving planning maps used by many here:

Each has its advantages. The driving times given do NOT include any stops, so you add for stops and also, most here add about 25% on top of that for the additional time it seems to take in the real world.

It looks like six hours by car (probably optimistic). I haven't driven it but have heard it described as similar to driving through the Midwest (or Alberta for that matter), pretty much flat.

Make sure your rental company will let you take the car into Poland. Many won't let you take their cars into any eastern European countries.
