Berlin 4-trip tickets

I am wondering if the 4-journey ticket AB (€ 9,00) can be shared between 2 people. I am traveling with my husband and we will be arriving into Berlin Central station at night and then heading to the AirBnB right away. Over the next 3 days, we plan to use the day passes to see Berlin. On the final day, we will be leaving via Berlin Tegel.

Can we use 2 tickets on the first day and the remaining 2 tickets on the last day?

Thank you.

Yes. Ensure to time stamp / validate one ticket per journey per person. Only buying a ticket is not enough.

Tip: If your train ticket includes city ticket option you can travel for free to your final destination in zone A. In this case two single trip tickets would be enough on day of departure.

Be aware on the changes of bus line "TXL" since yesterday. The route does not include Alexanderplatz anymore.

Mark, thank you for the comment on the TXL bus. We took the bus on the 5th and were surprised when we got kicked off just after the main train station! It wasn’t a long walk to our hotel, but longer than we expected!

We bought 4-trip tickets for two of us. Used two for the journey and have two left in our pocket for later.

Sorry to hear that. I hope that they did not "kick" you off. The topic was available on TA forum since a few weeks but there was no communication from VisitBerlin website.

This is an example reason why I and others always recommend to check BVG journey planner at day of journey, e.g. after landing with free airport wifi while waiting for luggage. The journey planner is the only tool which gives you the most actual information. GooMa for example did not ever realized that we had full day strikes of BVG, also not CityMapper. Just use the local provider info by website or app - best you can do for your journey.

Also other lines changed. e.g. bus line 200 (pdf) which some tourists used for sightseeing. It is no longer driving through "Unter den Linden", the boulevard between Brandenburg Gate and Alexanderplatz. Now it drives along Leipziger Strasse.

New is bus line 300 (pdf) from Potsdamer Platz via south corner of Alexanderplatz and along East Side Gallery to station Warschauer Strasse.
