I am wondering how to get from my arrival gate at Berlin's Tegel Airport to the Bus#TXL, which I plan to take to Alexander Platz. Can you offer any specific direction within the airport to get to the bus, including where to purchase the ticket & approximately how much it cost? Thank you!

Tegel is not a large airport, and I had no trouble finding signs leading to buses, taxis, etc. We took a cab, which was about €25, but the buses are not far from the cab stand. Also, Tegel is donut-shaped. If you keep walking around it, you'll eventually get to your starting point; before you do, you'll undoubtedly pass an information booth <g>.
