Air New Zealand is introducing lie-flat seating in economy class! A couple can spring for the price of about 2 1/2 seats and get the space of 3 to lie down. Finally...someone doing SOMETHING about 60-year-old airplane seat technology!! Click here for details and a demo video.

Cool Norm! Unfortunately for the solo traveler like me, I will have to hope 1) I get a whole row to myself, or 2) my two other economy class row mates don't mind cuddling up for a long flight :-)

That's especially well suited for the ultra long flight to NZ or Oz. I can see them selling out quickly.
