Hi guys, I'm looking for trains from Bayeux to Paris on the 14th September - it looks like for some reason there is no direct service that day. Anyone know of a good alternative? DBahn is suggesting Bayeux > Caen > Le Mans > Paris which nearly doubles the original journey time so wondering if anyone in France knows of a better solution? Thanks Anila

The SNCF site shows the normal, direct service, throughout the day on Friday, Sept. 13, and resumes the middle of Sunday afternoon. A number of indirect connections is offered Saturday. I can only guess at the reason: Maybe some sort of repair or servicing has been scheduled.

Thanks - it's annoying that so much of it's guesswork. Can't find anything on any engineering updates.
