Bathroom on Bus

What bus? If it's a SITA bus, no.

Thank you. I was referring to SENA. Since the travel time by bus from Rome to Siena appears to be about 3 hours, I was wondering about the facilities on the bus, or if the bus stops for bathroom breaks?

Whether or not there will be a facility on a bus for a 3 hour journey I do not know. However, this I do know: It is a toilet, not a bathroom.

Bus drivers in Italy are required to stop every 2 hours I believe so if it's a 3 hour trip, you probably will have a break.

If there were a toilet, I would not use it. Gross does not even come close to describing a toilet on a bus. Go before you go and drink sparingly.

That would be my recommendation – don't drink anything before your journey just in case. I've used buses in Germany and Spain for 1-2 hour trips... no toilets. I will say that I have used the toilet on an Italian train before – nasty for sure but no worse than a well-used portable toilet like you might need while tailgating at a football game here. Maybe we should do a thread on worst/best toilets. Swiss train toilets aren't bad.
