Bath to Heathrow

What is the best transportion choice to get from Bath to Heathrow? I have a flight on a Friday in October at 3pm. Is there a train or bus that can take me from Bath to Heather by Noon? I heard there is a train that can do that for a couple of hours. Is this true? Thank you

Several years ago I took an early (about 5 am) bus from Bath to Heathrow. It's cheaper than the train, but maybe no faster. If you take the train, I believe it's necessary to transfer to a bus at some point.

You cannot take a train directly from Bath Spa to Heathrow. You can take a train to Reading and a coach (bus) from there.

A slightly faster but more expensive choice is to take a train to Paddington Station in London and either the Heathrow Express train or the Heathrow Connect train from there to the airport. The Heathrow Connect is much cheaper than the HEX. Leave Bath Spa at 09:43 and arrive at Paddington at 11:15. Take the 11:33 Heathrow Connect to the airport, arriving at 11:59.

Your cheapest option is to take a coach directly from Bath Spa to Heathrow. There is an express coach that leaves at 08:25 and arrives at 10:20. The next coach doesn't arrive at Heathrow until 12:25. See the timetables and fares here.
