anyone know how far from the basel airport where easy jet flies into to the swiss basel train station

Personal experience warning: the tickets are machine only and they only take coins. Get a chocolate bar or something in the airport to make sure you have coins in change.

According to Basler Verkehrs-Betriebe, there is a bus, #50, from the Euroairport, in France, to the Basel Bahnhof SBB. It takes 16-17 minutes. The fare, I think, is 3,80 CHF per adult.
