Has anyone traveled from Barcelona to Florence by train? We are a party of two adults and on grandchild 12yrs old.
It's a long ride and the best route includes a night train from Barcelona to Turin and a day train from there to Florence. However, the night train doesn't run every day of the week. See the timetables on the German Rail site. If you pick the right airline, flying will be far cheaper than taking the train. Booked well in advance, you can fly non-stop on Vueling for under €50.
Thanks We willl look into the air alternative.
